Simulation and Training

The Simulator-IED is intended to be used as a “Stand-Alone” training device.

There are applications within training for Urban Operations where there is a need to have multiple receivers in operation.

ManPAD-Simulator effectively simulates the effects during the launch-phase of many types of portable surface-launched ground to air missiles.

FBSS-Cartridge L1A1 simulates the effects of an Armoured Fighting Vehicles’ Main Gun being fired.

DM49 cartridge indicates the catastrophic kill of a vehicle, being hit. It produces a well audible report (by split of cap), a bright red flash and a clearly visible cloud of red smoke.

DM61 cartridge simulates the effect of a short range shoulder– launched Anti-tank weapon, Panzerfaust 3, being fired.

Micro Pyro Cards (MPC) are based on circuit board technology. They are of credit-card size, bearing 11 pyrotechnic effects. Ignition is electrically without using electric matches, thus allowing the simulation of single and multiple shots.

Macro Pyro Cards (MaPyC) with five Effects are based on Circuit Board Technology, like Micro Pyro Cards, and are designed to close an Effects-gap between Micro Pyro Cards and M 30-Type cartridges.

LGSS, in its basic one-module version, can simulate up to 16 effects. 32 and more effects are achievable by adding one or more modules.
