Description
The 1oz Exploder Primer is a pressed pellet of a high explosive composition covered in an aluminium can, sealed at one end with a rubber disc to assist with the gripping of a detonator.
The Primer unit forms part of an explosive chain between the detonator and the main charge filling and is used to boost the small output from a detonator to give an impulse of sufficient energy to cause full detonation in a main charge.
The Primer unit will normally be used for priming general demolition charges for military and commercial operations.
